Hunter's Hatchet
The old Plumb hatchet company made lots of different sized "Boy Scout" hatchets. They were all good. The lightweight 3/4 lb. head hatchet with a hickory handle was, in our opinion, one of the best hatchets ever produced for hunters, backpackers, and campers. At only 11" long, it was easily carried on a belt or in a pack and performed camp and field-dressing duties effortlessly. Unfortunately, cheaper overseas mass production and the movement to injection molded plastic handles pretty well eliminated these beautiful and functional little hatchets with their durable oil-finished American hickory handles. We have decided to remedy that situation.

Wood Saw/Bone Saw
Sometimes nothing will take the place of a good compact saw in the outdoors. We have looked at wood and bone saws for years and after much field testing, have designed two very efficient and stable full-tang saws for the outdoorsman. The object of an outdoorsman's saw is to cut quickly and quietly. When you are trimming brush to set up on a gobbling turkey that is 90 yards out, the last thing you want is loud noises. Inherently weak folding saws that "click" into place are not the answer. Saws that must be put together (always fun in the dark!) are not the answer. Saws that "wobble and sing" when you use them because they are not full-tang and are out of balance are not the answer - neither are saws that are so short that the sawing takes forever. Our saws have a cutting area 8" long and a total length of 13" so the stroke is smooth and very efficient, cutting quickly and cleanly.
